We are living in an age where homemaking has become an outdated skill. We are becoming increasingly overwhelmed by clutter, excess, junk food, chaotic schedules, financial debt and stress. Shannon Vavich believes that HOME is the most important place in the world, and she wants to help you make the best possible home for yourself and your family.
Shannon is the mother of six great kids ages 11 and under, and has been married to her husband, a United States Marine, for 14 years. Together they have moved and "set-up house" six times. Through trial and error, Shannon has become an expert in home organization, clutter control, home management, how to keep a positive attitude in the midst of utter chaos, and to try, try, try again.
Shannon is also a self-taught pastry chef and owned her own gourmet cake business for 11 years. She is a from-scratch cooking instructor, a recipe developer, a food historian, and a food writer.
Most of all, Shannon is a wife, a mom, a neighbor and a friend.
Shannon Vavich believes that homemaking is a skill that can be learned.
It is an art. It is a science. It is for everyone.
Shannon is currently writing books on home organization, simple living and home management, as well as books on frugal cooking, international cuisine, cooking with children and many more. She lives simply, cares for her home and family, and homeschools her children at her husband's current place of duty in New Orleans, Louisiana.
